Temperatures are heating up, and the clock is ticking down to the start of the school year…but there’s still plenty of time to plan a cool summer vacation to YMCA of the Rockies. Family vacations and reunions can be planned and booked now at YMCA of the Rockies at Estes Park Center in Estes Park, Colo. and at Snow Mountain Ranch in Winter Park, Colo.

Summer family vacations and activities are affordable – and available!

  • Rates for a lodge room start at just $109 per night, and rates for a two-bedroom cabin start at just $119 per night. Lodge rooms sleep up to six adults, and include two adult breakfasts per day. Both lodge rooms and cabins are still available for reservations at Estes Park Center and Snow Mountain Ranch.
  • Many on-site activities are FREE. As a non-profit organization, YMCA of the Rockies strives to bring families together in a supportive and family-focused environment. Hiking, miniature golf, games, and an on-site library and pool are just a few of the free options available at YMCA of the Rockies.
  • On-site kids day camps are available. Full- and half-day programs are available for children ages 3-17, allowing the adults to undertake adventures of their own, and still enjoy some great family together time.

A variety of entertaining, family-friendly activities are happening around the communities of Estes Park and Winter Park for the! remaining weeks of summer. Both Estes Park Center and Snow Mountain Ranch are ideal family destinations, and both offer a convenient option for exploring the nearby mountain communities and wilderness alike.

  • SummerFest Concert Series: A variety of musicians and styles are featured on Wednesday evenings through Aug. 26.
  • Thursday Night Live: Whether it's jazz, American folk, contemporary legends, classical, or big ban! d – Estes Park has the music to please, each Thursday through August 27 at Performance Park amphitheater.

  • Fraser Tuesday Picnic in the Park: Bring a blanket and picnic and enjoy music on Tuesday evenings through Aug. 11.
  • Cowboy Sing-A-Long: Cowboys and cowgirls of all ages enjoy this entertaining live show featuring all the campfire favorites on Tuesday evenings through Aug. 18.
  • Wild Nights at Winter Park: A nature and wildlife series on Wednesday evenings through Aug. 19.
  • High-Note Thursdays at Hideaway Park: A weekly summer concert series on Thursday evenings through Aug. 20.
