New Year trips Urbane Nomads
10-19-2009Urbane Nomads is a luxury travel company specializing in creative itineraries and off-the-beaten trek destinations done in as much luxury as possible.
We'd developed some new trips over the last few months, some of which might translate well into a trip for the New Year period.
Some of the trips offered by Urbane Nomads include:
- A trip to Istanbul/Beirut, ending with a private concert in a 14th century Mamluke palace in Aleppo.
- A trip to the Empty Quarters in Oman, made famous by Wilfred Thesiger. Guests will be spending the night in luxury tents, set up by an advance team and greeted by staff bearing cold towels at the end of a full day of driving through the desert.
- A trip to Beijing, starting with an early morning yoga session the next day by the Great Wall, alternately staying in luxurious courtyard home conversions in the hutongs and visits to the Forbidden City led by experts, visiting areas normally closed off to the public.
- A trip to Sri Lanka, waking up to views of Sigiriya, a plausible addition to one of the Wonders of the Ancient World, combining it either with leopard safaris or stays on private islands.
