Online Reality Show Goes All-Female in Season Five

ISTANBUL, October 27, 2009 — Jet Set Zero, the first online high-definition reality travel series and content network is making Internet waves once again. Starting this season, they’re going all female. The show, now in its second year, features twenty-somethings that have opted out of the daily grind of work and life to travel the world on what they can earn.

The new cast will begin their journey in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, also the first destination for Jet Set Zero’s four original cast members.

“We have been traveling as a group of guys for about a year,” said Brian Lio, an original cast member and co-creator of the Jet Set Zero project. “We’re excited to compare our adventure to what a group of women experience. It should be pretty exciting to see what happens when they’re tossed into the chaotic streets of Saigon like we were.”

The show has been praised for its inventiveness and has amassed a considerable online following with dedicated viewers across more than 50 countries. “Jet Set Zero represents the best of the Internet and the social media revolution. These young entrepreneurs have combined the forces of reality TV and interactive web media. It’s been really exciting to see them succeed,” said Shane Mayer, a new media consultant with Blue State Digital in Los Angeles.

New video and blog content is released daily at Logon to follow season five.
