Alderbrook Resort & Spa will launch holiday festivities on Nov. 27 with their annual tree-lighting ceremony. The resort will feature a 40ft Christmas tree in the resort’s courtyard with more than seven miles of lights. Families can also have their photos taken with Santa every Saturday and Sunday starting Nov. 28 through Dec. 20, with proceeds benefitting the Fallen Soldiers Fund.
Festivities include:
Tree Lighting Ceremony Friday November Friday November 27th 2009
· 6:00pm-Santa Claus arrives to Alderbrook via boat parade
· 6:30pm-Tree and Resort Lighting
· Santa Claus dashes through Hood Canal as a part of the boat parade to bring the holiday spirit to Alderbrook. Accompanied by the Roosevelt High School Drum Line and the Wilson High School Choir, Santa will greet children and guests with candy canes and lead the tree and resort lighting with a turn of a switch to kick off the holiday season and evening of festivities
· Complimentary Hot Coco and Apple Cider
· Santa Clause appearances and pictures:
· Saturday/Sunday from November 28/29 – December 19/20
