For the First Time Ever, Resort Announces New Winter Packages with Ski Options

 

South Lake Tahoe, Nev. – Dec. 3, 2009 Zephyr Cove Resort, operated by ARAMARK Parks and Destinations, is pulling out all the stops with a new round of winter vacation packages that feature lift tickets and free transportation to Heavenly Ski Resort and access to transportation to Kirkwood and Sierra ski resorts. With tickets to the most popular ski slopes in the area, snowmobile tours of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and rides on the M.S. Dixie II, a Mississippi-style paddle wheeler and one of the true icons on the lake, these new packages offer guests the chance to experience the best of Lake Tahoe capped off with a relaxing stay at Zephyr Cove Resort.

 

Guests looking to ski, snowmobile, and cruise will enjoy the Three Perfect Winter Tahoe Days package, which includes a three-night stay in a one bedroom, studio or bungalow cabin. Priced at $127 per person, per night based on double occupancy—with a savings of 23 percent—the package includes two lift tickets per day for two days at Sierra, Kirkwood or Heavenly Ski Resorts, two M.S. Dixie II scenic cruise passes, and a two-hour double-rider snowmobile tour.

 

For the non-skiers, Zephyr Cove Resort’s Ride, Stay, and Cruise package includes a two-night stay in a studio, bungalow, or one-bedroom cabin or lodge, two single Lake View snowmobile tours, and two M.S. Dixie II scenic cruise passes. Priced at $200 per person, the package represents a savings of 35 percent.

 

For the avid skiers, Zephyr Cove Resort’s Zephyr Ski package, priced at $118 per person based on double occupancy, with a savings of 27 percent, includes a one-night stay in a one-bedroom, studio or bungalow cabin, two lift tickets per day to Sierra, Kirkwood or Heavenly Ski Resorts, and breakfast for two. Guests can upgrade and include dinner for two at Zephyr Cove Resort with the Zephyr Plus Ski package, priced at $153 per person—20 percent savings—based on double occupancy.

 

The Skier and Riders Best Deal offer that includes $50 room rates in a one bedroom, studio or bungalow cabin for one to two guests or $80 room rates for groups of three or four. The rate, which represents a 66 percent discount, also includes free daily transportation to Heavenly village.
