Lowest Temperature of Day Determines What You Pay at Cheyenne Mountain Resort

Colorado Springs, Colorado, Dec. 8, 2009 -- Cheyenne Mountain Resort is offering the coolest off-season promotion ever – where your total spend at the resort is based on the lowest temperature on the day of your stay.

The “Baby It’s Cold Outside” offer includes not just your room rate but all of your expenditures at the Four Diamond resort. You can enjoy up to 50 percent off your entire resort experience, whether a gourmet meal in Pineview Restaurant, a massage or a round of golf.  The discounts are as follows:

  • 25 – 32 degrees:    10% off of total spend
  • 17 – 24 degrees:    20% off of total spend
  • 8 – 22 degrees:      25% off of total spend
  • 0 - 14 degrees:      30% off of total spend
  • Below 0 degrees:   50% off of total spend

Guests book a room normally and then the adjustment will be made to the bill based on the day’s temperature. A Weather Board, showing temperatures from the Weather Channel, will be posted at the Front Desk for validation.

Baby It’s Cold Outside is valid January 1 through March 31, 2010. Rooms may be booked starting December 22, 2009 through the end of program.   Room rates at Cheyenne Mountain Resort during this period will start at $99, based on availability;  not available holidays.

In addition, there are always free concerts and other musical and special events going on; log on to PeakRadar.com for information on everything happening in Colorado Springs.

Set on 217 lush acres, Cheyenne Mountain Resort features 316 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites, each with a private balcony with mountain and golf course views; 40,000 square feet of meeting and event space; a championship Pete Dye-designed golf course; five swimming pools; 18 tennis courts, squash and racquetball courts as well as a pro shop; Health & Fitness Center; Aquatics Center, and a 35-acre recreation lake where guests enjoy sailboards, canoes, kayaks, paddleboats, volleyball on a sand beach, and catch-and-release fly fishing (the lake is stocked with big German Browns and rainbow trout).
