Kansas Underground Salt Museum Receives Coveted Google Designation:  Google, the world’s leading search engine, has designated the Kansas Underground Salt Museum in Hutchinson as a “Favorite Place on Google,” acknowledging the significant number of its users who searched Kansas Underground Salt Museum on Google for driving directions and general information.  Because of that popularity, Google sent an interactive window decal that declares the Salt Museum is a "Favorite Place on Google." The decal includes a special bar code that visitors can scan with cameras on their phones to directly access the museum’s listing on Google, read and write reviews, and add the museum as a favorite if they hadn’t already.  Visit for more information
