Book by April 30 and Save $300 on 12-Day China Tour
Blaine, WA, March 30, 2010—In just six years China Spree has become one of the top China tour companies by providing first-class travel at bargain prices. Their newest deal is a $300 discount on the Middle Kingdom tour, if booked by April 30.
The tour is so named because ancient China called itself the “Middle Kingdom,” and this trip travels the highway of Chinese history—Beijing, Xian, Hangzhou, Suzhou and Shanghai—in just 12 days. Prices, which start at $1,899, include non-stop transpacific flights on Air China, all transportation in China, first-class hotel accommodations with private bath, comprehensive sightseeing with entrance fees, 26 meals (American breakfasts), unique culinary events, cultural insight programs, services of a tour director and local guides, and baggage handling.
Until June 1, the cash discount price is $2,099 from San Francisco, $2,299 from New York/JFK; from June 8 to 29 it’s $2,295 from SFO, $2,599 from JFK; in July and August it’s $2,099 and $2,399; in September and October it’s $2,099 and $2,299; and in November it goes down to $1,899 and $2,099. The $300 promotional discount is on top of these cash discount rates.
The itinerary starts in the capital, Beijing, with visits to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, the Great Wall, a rickshaw ride through the city’s hutongs (picturesque old neighborhoods) and more. Then comes Xian, ancient capital of the Middle Kingdom, with its Muslim Quarter and the fabled First Emperor’s life-sized Army of Terracotta Warriors. Next to Hangzhou to see a tea plantation and West Lake, “the landscape composed by a painter,” then Suzhou, the “Venice of the East” with its canals and classical gardens. The final destination is dynamic, cosmopolitan Shanghai, to take in the elegant Bund, old city and futurist Pudong and enjoy a free day.
China Spree’s hands-on managing director has dined in all the restaurants and inspected all the hotels (Marriott Beijing, Xian Titan Times, West Lake Golden Plaza, Pullman Shanghai) used on the tour. He has also arranged special meals: lunch in the home of a Chinese family, a dim sum banquet and a Peking duck dinner.
All prices quoted are per person, double occupancy and are subject to availability. They do not include the China visa fee or air taxes and fees of $330 from SFO or $338 from JFK.
