Spend the Night with "Taste of the Northern Neck" Package

IRVINGTON, VA, June 16, 2010 - July is peak season for tomatoes grown in Virginia's Northern Neck region, and the area's best heirloom tomatoes will be featured at the Tides Inn's next locavore dinner July 22. An ongoing series, the locavore dinners highlight the local bounty grown in the Northern Neck by independent farmers and ranchers. Last month's dinner featured asparagus, and the August 26 event will showcase Virginia's delicious corn, melons, peppers, peaches, okra and squash.
