Visitors seeking extreme terror won’t want to miss Kings Dominion’s Halloween Haunt. Every weekend in October, the theme-park, with more than 60 rides, games and attractions, transforms into a haunted escape. Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardenoffers Goblins and Gourds on Oct. 24, a harvest celebration with live music by the Richmond Indigenous Gourd Orchestra, pumpkin decorating and good green fun.
