$15.11 Two-Course & $20.11 Three Course Lunch Menus
Monday – Friday, March 7-11 & March 14-18;

$33.11 Three-Course Dinner Menus March 6-19

 

 

 

BOSTON – (February 3, 2011) – Taj Boston, the landmark hotel at Arlington and Newbury streets overlooking the Public Garden, will introduce new prix fixe lunch and dinner menus in The Café to celebrate Boston’s Restaurant Weeks March 6-19.

 

This charming spot with expansive views of fashionable Newbury Street is a local favorite for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner, and showcases culinary creations by Executive Chef Michael Mandato.

 

The chef’s new Winter Restaurant Week prix fixe menus offer a choice of two or three courses for $15.11 or $20.11 at lunch, Monday – Friday, March 7-11 and March 14-18, and $33.11 for three courses at dinner, available nightly, March 6-19:

  • Appetizer options include Indian Corn Kabob With Micro Greens and Mint DressingArtichoke, Prosciutto and Gruyere Terrine With Arugula and Citrus Olive Oil Dressingor Ruby Beet Risotto with Trumpet Crusted Scallops and Fresh Chives
  • For entrées, select from Coq au Riesling with Fennel and Fingerling Potato Confit and Wilted Spinach; Bacon-Wrapped Halibut with Wilted Bok Choy and Miso Mustard Sauce, or Ajwaini Paneer Kofta with Cashew, Onion and Cream Sauce, a vegetarian specialty of Lucknow that features cottage cheese dumplings flavored with fragrant carom seeds in a savory sauce
  • Desserts on offer are Chocolate Coconut Torte with Passion Fruit Sorbet; Lemon Crème Brûlée with Raspberry Sorbet or a Selection of Ice Cream or Sorbet

Throughout the year, The Café offers prix fixe menus that change weekly: $18 for two courses or $23 for three courses at lunch; $28 for two courses and $33 for three courses at dinner. It also serves a number of breakfast and brunch dishes and a la carte starters, entrées and desserts for lunch and dinner daily. Among its popular Arlington Street Classics are Boston Clam Chowder, Lobster Cobb Salad, Chicken Pot Pie and Kobe Beef Burger.
