Enter Mount Hope Mansion where the year is 1899 and the 20th century is emerging. The dining tables are set for a culinary and intellectual feast at the Murder at Mount Hope Mansion, Fridays and Saturdays, March 4 through April 9.  The greatest minds of the time have gathered to discuss new ideas and inventions that will impact future generations forever. Assembled are doctors of the human mind, fantastical authors, scientists, and mad inventors all vying to be the most important thinker of the new century.  However, all is not as it seems, as some are willing to do anything to ensure their greatness in the history books, even commit murder. The great detective Sherlock Holmes and his faithful friend Dr. Watson are curious to see what might come from a meeting of such eccentric geniuses.

The action takes place in Victorian Mount Hope Mansion on the grounds of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. The evening begins with appetizers and drinks at the cash bar featuring handcrafted Swashbuckler Ales and award-winning Mount Hope Wines. Guests are encouraged to interact with the characters and collect clues to help unveil the killer later in the evening.

Guests will then enjoy a delicious homemade meal inspired by the book "Dining with Sherlock Holmes" by Julia Rosenblatt. Feast upon a Prawn Salad Ryder, Chicken Murillo and Sage and Sundried Tomato Lasagna before concluding with a hearty helping of Peaches Cartwright over Devonshire Splits, warm peaches, raspberry puree and Devonshire cream over warm biscuits.

After dinner, guests will become involved in an interactive "who-done-it" mystery where they will be called upon by Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson to help decipher the clues and catch the murderer. Who will be the victim and who will be the assassin? It's elementary, my dear!
