New York - February 28, 2011: This Easter, Hotel Fouquet's Barrière, Paris' most ecologically responsible five-star hotel, offers a variety of epicurean treats for children and adults:
Easter Brunch
A special Easter brunch will take place on Sunday, April 24 at Le Fouquet's restaurant. The hotel's Executive Chef Jean-Yves Leuranguer has created special dishes for the occasion, including lobster served in its shell, Wakame's sea bream tartare and salmon coulibiac, to name a few. The brunch is priced at €98 per person (approximately US$133), and includes beverages.
Easter Egg Hunt and Crèpe Party
On Easter Monday, April 25, Hotel Fouquet's Barrière's annual Easter egg hunt will take place in the hotel's garden at 3pm, followed by a kid's crèpe party in the hotel's Le Diane restaurant at 4pm. The Easter egg hunt is complimentary to guests of the hotel and restaurants, and the crèpe party is priced at €20 (approximately US$27) per person.
The Fouquet's Coco Egg
A special Easter egg (pictured, right) in the shape of a coconut and garnished with mini nougatine eggs is available for sale in two sizes: 6 inches (priced at €38; approximately US$52) and 23 inches (priced at €58; approximately US$79). Created exclusively for Hotel Fouquet's Barrière by head pastry Chef Claude Ducrozet, the egg has a white chocolate interior and is dusted in coconut and then dipped in milk chocolate.
