New York - May 5, 2011: Jet Airways, India's leading private airline, continues the expansion of its worldwide network, with new routes, in-flight services and global partnerships.

JET AIRWAYS MARKS 18TH ANNIVERSARY WITH CEREMONIAL TREE PLANTING
Jet Airways today marked its 18th anniversary with a tree plantation drive at the site of its new training center in Gurgaon, the industrial and financial hub of the northern Indian state of Haryana.  Senior management and employees of Jet Airways from various departments helped plant 18 symbolic Gulmohar, Ashoka and Bottlebrush saplings, for each of the 18 years of the airline's services.  Jet Airways commenced operations on May 5, 1993 to 12 Indian cities, with a fleet of four Boeing 737-300 aircraft. The airline has since emerged as one of the fastest growing in the world, with current operations to 71 destinations across India and Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and the Gulf. 

JET AIRWAYS LAUNCHES FREQUENT-FLYER PARTNERSHIP WITH ALITALIA
Jet Airways has announced a reciprocal frequent-flyer partnership with Italian airline, Alitalia. JetPrivilege members can now earn and redeem JPMiles while traveling on the entire global network of Alitalia; and Alitalia's MilleMiglia members can earn and redeem their miles on Jet Airways' 71 destinations across India and beyond.  Alitalia has a fleet of 150 aircraft, among the most modern in Europe. Jet Airways currently has frequent-flyer partnership agreements with 23 leading international airlines.

JET AIRWAYS UNVEILS NEW BESPOKE CHINA IN FIRST AND PREMIERE CLASS
Jet Airways has unveiled a new line of bespoke china from the house of William Edwards, one of Britain's leading ceramic designers, for its in-flight food and beverage service in Premiere and First Class.  Incorporating the traditional hand decoration techniques of English potters in the Stoke-On-Trent area, the Jet Airways First Class collection uses precious metals, including real gold and mica, to evoke the rich colors and textures associated with Indian culture.  Using a similar design format, the Premiere collection incorporates platinum and silver mica.

JET AIRWAYS LAUNCHES 15 NEW FLIGHTS FROM HYDERABAD, ITS NEW MINI-HUB IN SOUTHERN INDIA
With the launch of 15 new daily flights from Hyderabad, Jet Airways has established a mini-hub in the capital of the southern state of Andhra Pradesh to destinations throughout India.  Flying its B737 and ATR aircraft on these new routes, Jet Airways will increase connectivity from southern India to Nagpur, Jaipur, Vijayawada and Bhubaneswar, among other destinations.
