Kailua-KonaHawaii – Vacationers wanting more bang for their buck will be happy to know that a smorgasbord of FREE amenities and cultural activities are available at the Keauhou Beach Resort.  Guests need to look no further than the hotel’s surroundings to discover a multitude of activities and services to make their vacation affordable and more memorable. 

·         Enjoy FREE Daily Breakfast Buffet ($15 per person value)

One of the most popular guest amenities at Keauhou Beach Resort is the free breakfast each morning. Guests can start the morning right with their choice of fresh island fruits, pastries, breakfast meats, eggs, cereals, and oatmeal served daily at the open-air Kamaaina Terrace from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.   

·         Experience the Huaka’i Ali’i Tour ($40 per person value)

Guests who book a minimum three-night stay are invited to enjoy a complimentary cultural tour held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. This hour-and-a-half tour takes visitors on a historical and cultural journey of the significant cultural sites found right on property. Reservations are recommended as space is limited.

 

·         Immerse in Cultural Games and Activities

Makahiki (ancient Hawaiian games), ukulele lessons, lauhala weaving, Hawaiian language lessons, are just some of the complimentary activities offered on a regular basis.  Check with front desk for a complete listing and activity schedule.

·         Listen to Live Hawaiian Music

On Friday and Saturday evenings, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the hotel’s Verandah  Lounge, guests can dance, sing along or simply enjoy live Hawaiian music without leaving the grounds of the hotel.

·         Snorkel at Kahaluu Bay Beach Park

The resort sits right next door to the best snorkeling beach on the Big Island -- Kahaluu Bay Beach Park.  With easy beach access from the resort, guests can swim with tropical fishes ‘til their hearts desire. Snorkel gear can be rented from a nearby shop.

·         Take a Ride on the Trolley

With rates as low as $1.00, this trolley ride is so affordable, it’s almost free!  Guests can sightsee with ease on this hop-on, hop-off trolley ride that circles from one end of Alii Drive to the other.  With convenient stops along the route, guests can enjoy all the shopping, dining and entertainment around town without the hassle of driving and looking for parking.  Map route with schedule is available at the front desk.
