June 2011 is already off to a great start in Israel, beginning with the highly anticipated 2nd Masada Opera Festival, June 1 through 12,which drew tens of thousands of travelers from around the world to witness the unique operatic and classical music concerts in Jerusalem and at the footsteps of Masada.  Building on this tremendous success, we are looking forward to an event-filled summer for tourists and locals alike throughout Israel.

 

With summer weather already well under way in Israel, we are looking forward to welcoming you to Israel to experience the myriad of outdoor activities and new attractions sprouting up across the country.

MAY 2011 SETS NEW RECORD FOR TOURISM TO ISRAEL

Travel to Israel reached a new all-time high last month with the arrival of 268,000 international tourists--a 5% increase compared to May 2010. Also, approximately 1,168,000 travelers arrived for one-day visits between January and May 2011--4% more than the same period last year.
