This is the second consecutive year that Spice has won this prestigious honour.

Grenada is always abundant with activities that offer visitors an opportunity to participate in the enthusiasm of the local culture. Guests visiting the Island in February should be aware that February 7, 2008 is the 34th anniversary of Grenada’s independence. Independence Day is a public holiday when most banks and businesses are closed, but expect to be treated to various public ceremonies and parades held in celebration.

How to Get to Grenada from Canada

Air Canada Vacations offers a non-stop seasonal flight from Toronto to Grenada from December to April (visit www.aircanadavacations.com), with a Sunday departure. Air Canada and Caribbean Airlines operate regularly scheduled flights from Toronto and Montreal to Barbados or Trinidad with connections on LIAT to Grenada. GG Tours and Titan Tours operate charter services (www.ggtours.ca and www.titantours.com). Air Jamaica offers regularly scheduled non-stop flights to Grenada from JFK in New York.
