HIGH SEASON AVAILABILITY: SCOOP LAST-MINUTE LUXURY WITH OLARRO'S MARA MIGRATION SAFARI OVER KENYAN WILDLIFE

LOITA HILLS, SOUTH WESTERN KENYA (August 3, 2011) - The picturesque Olarro and Little Olarro luxury lodge has some last minute availability for the high season of the world's grandest wildlife spectacle, the Great Migration through Kenya's Masai Mara. This includes the Little Olarro suite with its panoramic views and in-room spa.

WHEN:

The high season at Olarro runs from mid-June through October.

WHO:

Olarro is an artistically-styled retreat with undulating walls and curves that mimic the rolling hillside setting. Blending into the surroundings, it comprises seven uniquely different cottages within the main Olarro property plus Little Olarro, an exclusive, private house suite set apart in the hillside.

ACTIVITIES:

Guests can take scenic helicopter flights into the Masai Mara, and have the rare opportunity to float over the million strong wildebeest and zebra migration in a hot air balloon, followed by a champagne breakfast in a remote locale. There's also night drives with night-vision binoculars, minimizing the disturbance to the natural behavior of wildlife and allowing guests a clear view of nocturnal animals as well as leopards and lions. There's also mountain biking, trekking, sundowners, bush breakfasts and bush dinners and a swimming pool.

WHY:

Olarro was recently voted one of the "World's Most Romantic Hotels" and a "Top 50 New Hotel" by Travel + Leisure. It was designed by Anthony Russell of Shompole fame with extreme low-impact, high-concept aesthetics.

WHAT:

The main cottage interiors are cool white, accented by earth tone accessories and modern decor. All cottages have luxurious en-suite bathrooms with rainfall showers and Thera Vine amenities. Each has its own patio and six of the cottages share common areas, ideal for groups, friends and families.

WHERE:

Olarro is situated in South Western Kenya, 124 miles from Nairobi in the heart of the Loita Hills. The lodge has a birds-eye view of the surrounding 10,000 acre private game conservancy, along the corridor of the annual wildebeest migration.

HOW:

Olarro rates start at $684USD per person per night sharing (fully inclusive.)
