La Cala Resort  boasts a charming 5-star hotel, a luxury spa, a club house and three—count them—three 18-hole golf courses.  It is just outside Mijas on the “Sun Coast,” 20 minutes from glamorous Marbella and 30 minutes from the Malaga Airport.  Optional car rentals and/or excursions to points of interest in Andalusia (the Alhambra!) are available.
