Amazing Accommodation
In July, Travel + Leisure Magazine recognized The Fairmont Vancouver Airport among its prestigious "T+L 100" list for 2011. The hotel, located directly within the Vancouver International Airport,
landed among the top ten large city hotels within the U.S./Canada. Made up of the top properties receiving the highest rankings in Travel + Leisure’s annual "World’s Best Awards" reader survey, respondents were asked to rate hotels on five characteristics: rooms/facilities, location, service, restaurants/food and value.

City of the Future
The City of Richmond was ranked within the top 10 in the first "American Cities of the Future" list compiled by fDi Magazine. Richmond was selected for its combination of strategic location, strong business climate and local business-friendly policies, creating a vibrant economic structure recognizable across the continent.  The fDi’s (foreign direct investment) "Cities of the Future" ranking shortlisted 405 cities across North and South America of different sizes in different categories. Categories included "Quality of Life," "Business Friendliness," and "Economic Potential." fDi is a division of Financial Times Ltd. and provides leading industry insight on globalisation and foreign direct investment intelligence.
