Whistler, B.C. - Pent up demand from winter season enthusiasts continues to drive strong early bookings in Whistler. On the heels of two of the resort's snowiest winters in recent memory, Tourism Whistler's strategy to provide unbeatable deals through its Book Early & Save promotion is being well received by vacationers.

Available until November 15, Book Early and Save offers savings of up to 36 per cent off the cost of accommodation and lift ticket packages, as well as kids stay, ski, rent and shuttle for free options, no blackout dates plus a best price guarantee.

With fresh snow on the mountain peaks, meteorologists calling for above average snowfall for Whistler (i.e. more than 34 feet), and opening day only four weeks away, anticipation is high for another stellar winter season at the number one ski resort in North America.

Peak periods in Whistler, such as the holiday season, can see the resort's ample accommodations fill to capacity - so guests are encouraged to book their winter vacation by November 15 to secure the accommodation of their choice and receive the lowest rates of the season.

Just how exceptional are the deals? Here's just one example: Over the holiday period a couple can enjoy five nights' accommodation in a luxury Whistler hotel, plus four days of skiing or riding for a little more than $200 each per day.

Below are a few other popular offers available on Whistler.com - Whistler's official source for visitor bookings and information. Visitors can easily create a package that suites their needs, over any number of days, by calling 1-800-Whistler and speaking with Whistler-based travel consultants who have the local expertise to help build the perfect getaway. Whistler.com offers the best price guarantee, the largest selection, and one-stop shopping with no booking fee for accommodation, lift tickets or activities.

Early season rates
• Five nights' accommodation and four-day lift ticket package starting at $443 per person for moderate accommodation, $520 per person for deluxe accommodation and $658 per person for luxury accommodation.

Holiday period (December 19 - January 1)
