Y2Y E-Connections

12-22-2011

Dear Y2Y Friends,

I have many things to be grateful for this holiday season: my family is healthy and active, the growth of our Y2Y team brings a renewed energy, our partnerships are fruitful, our supporter base continues to grow both in depth and size, and we've made significant conservation gains.

I also know that without the steadfast support of each and everyone of you, we would not be able to carry out the work needed to realize our large-landscape vision. Thank YOU!

Santa GrizzlyThis season feels particularly special. Reflecting on our 2010 Annual Report, and I was overwhelmed by the headway we made in our land protection work and pleased with the progress we've made in our climate adaptation initiatives. I invite you to flip through the pages andsee our accomplishments for yourselves.

I also feel like we received an early conservation gift - a new law that officially protects B.C.'s Flathead River Valley from all mining, and oil and gas development. All of us at Y2Y are thrilled to attain this first of three critical steps. We will continue to work toward full protection of the Flathead in the New Year.

And what other presents await?

I truly appreciate your interest and support in the work of the Y2Y Initiative and our partners. I invite you to stay connected through our Conservation News and Facebook[Back to Press Releases Main]
