The Clifton Inn Farms a Garden Themed Evening 
in Honor of  Virginia Historic Garden Week 

 

What better way to kick off GardenWeek than with a Farmer? The Clifton Inn is kicking off Virginia Historic Garden Week with a special garden party book signing with Southern Living contributor,James Farmer, author of A Time to Plant: Southern-Style Garden Living [Gibbs Smith, August 2011] on April 22, 2012. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with book signing and cocktails, followed by a garden inspired dinner created by Clifton’s executive chef Tucker Yoder using produce and ingredients from local Charlottesville farmers and purveyors.
 
From the garden to the kitchen, decorating to entertaining, Farmer brings a fresh voice to time-honored gardening practices and offers a new generation insights into garden living.
 
Throughout Garden Week, April 21-28, Clifton will be featuring a Garden Week package for guests looking to make Clifton their home base as they enjoy the gardens of Central Virginia.
