HONG KONG (February 2, 2012) – The Upper House’s Café Gray Deluxe has launched a Red Roses Afternoon Tea in collaboration with leading British luxury fragrance and lifestyle brand Jo Malone to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year. The romantic afternoon tea set will be served exclusively at Café Gray Deluxe through February 29, 2012.
The essence of modern romance, and originally launched on Valentine’s Day, Red Roses is a voluptuous blend of seven of the world’s most exquisite roses. With crushed violet leaves and a hint of lemon, it’s surprisingly clean and sheer, unfolding like a bouquet of freshly cut flowers.
Three signature elements of the Jo Malone fragrance, the top note of Sweet Lemon, heart notes of Scarlet Velvet Rose and a base note of Honeycomb, are blended into the Red Roses Afternoon Tea. Café Gray Deluxe will feature specialties including Rose and Raspberry Macaroons, Lemon-Lime Tartlettes, Lemon and Poppy seed Pound Cake with Crystallized Rose Petals, preserves and honey. Tea choices range from classic Darjeeling and Earl Grey to herbal and flower blends such as fresh mint and roses.
The hotel’s collaboration with Jo Malone perfectly combines both brands’ philosophies of quality and luxury to promise the ultimate sensory experience. Priced at $24 per person or $45 for two people, the Red Roses Afternoon Tea is served daily from 3:30-5:30pm throughout February at Café Gray Deluxe with a breathtaking Hong Kong harbor view from the top.
After an enjoyable afternoon at Café Gray Deluxe, guests are invited to visit Jo Malone’s flagship boutique at adjacent Pacific Place, or any Lane Crawford counter, to enjoy a pampering Hand and Arm Massage and complimentary Fragrance Combining™ Discovery Kit.
