NEW LOEWS LAKE LAS VEGAS PACKAGE DEFIES GRAVITY

01-29-2008

Partnership with Zero-G Gives Guests Chance to Experience Weightless Flight

HENDERSON, NV (January 28, 2008) - Loews Lake Las Vegas is introducing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for guests to experience the total absence of gravity. . . to be weightless... and to float like an astronaut.  Partnering with the company ZERO-G, guests booking the hotel's exclusive Gravitational Package will be able to experience "zero gravity," or parabolic flight on February 9, March 1 or March 22, 2008.

The experience offered by ZERO-G is the only commercial opportunity on earth for individuals to experience true "weightlessness" without going to space and is available to just 20 people.  The 90-minute parabolic flight, the same method NASA has used to train its astronauts for the last 45 years and the same way Tom Hanks floated in Apollo 13, takes place on a G-Force One plane The controlled ascent and descent of the plane allows flyers to experience Martian gravity (1/3-gravity), Lunar gravity (1/6-gravity), and zero gravity.  The ZERO-G Experience provides its flyers with twice the amount of weightless time achieved in a typical sub-orbital flight into space.  The ZERO-G flights are guided by a trained instructor.

The Gravitational Package includes a two-night stay, a balancing, two indulging spa treatments at Loews' Spa Moulay, transportation to and from the hotel to the flight facility, a champagne regravitational party, a personalized flight suit, preflight training, personal photography and video of the flight.  Cost for this truly unique experience is $5,000 per person per flight and is available only during times when Zero-G flights are offered.  Availability is limited.

The Gravitational Package and flight is part of  a new partnership between Loews Hotels and ZERO-G, which allows visitors at several Loews properties to experience weightless flights the only way possible without going to space.
