Discounted Small-Group European Escorted Tours
Libertyville, IL, March 27, 2012—TourCrafters is offering a series of small-group exclusive tours. This is the time to book them and save $200 or more on the discounted departures. For example, a 7-day/6-night Small-Group Escorted Ireland Tour normally starts at $1,099. If the April 22 tour is booked before April 15, however, it’s only $999, a saving of $100 per person or $200 per couple.
The land-only tour, which departs from Dublin on April 22, May 27, June 17, July 22, August 12 and October 7, includes the services of a professional Irish driver/tour director, airport transfers, six nights’ accommodation in deluxe 4-star hotels, daily Irish breakfasts, three dinners, luxury motorcoach transportation, all entrance fees, hotel taxes and service charges.
The tour spends two nights at the smart modern Ashling Hotel in Dublin and provides a panoramic tour of the capital, a visit to the celebrated Book of Kells, welcome tea and scones and a free afternoon. Then it’s two nights at the Ardilaun, a traditional garden-surrounded hotel in Galway, with a stop at the Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey Distillery, a tour of Connemara’s wild and evocative scenery and a visit to the beautiful and peaceful Kylemore Abbey and Gardens. After a journey to the Burren, the Cliffs of Moher and Bunratty Castle and Folk Park (which recreates 19th-century Ireland), the tour stays two nights in Killarney at the elegant, family-run Dromhall Hotel. Here the highlight is a trip through the picturesque villages and spectacular coast and mountain scenery of the Ring of Kerry. And, finally, on the way back to Dublin, there’s a visit to Blarney Castle and a chance to kiss the famous Stone.
