WHITE CITY MUSIC FESTIVAL BRINGS
WORLD-RENOWNED ARTISTS TO TEL AVIV, MAY 1-10

New York - April 5, 2012: Travelers and music fans from around the world will arrive in Tel Aviv for the White City Music Festival, featuring an eclectic mix of jazz, funk, folk and rock & roll music concerts by artists from Israel and around the world at the Tel Aviv Namal, May 1-10, 2012.

The festival, named after Tel Aviv's moniker as the "White City" for its collection of white stucco Bauhaus architecture, will be hosted by Grammy Award-winning singer Bobby McFerrin and showcase performances by Rajasthani Josh Group, Goran Bregovic, Oi Va Voi, Renaud Garcia-Fons and Dr L. Subramaniam, among others, at Hangar 11 in the Namal,
Tel Aviv's old port-turned-entertainment hotspot.

"The context of this festival is about bringing an eclectic arrangement of musical genres together, said Zev Eizik, White City Musical Festival Founder and Producer, "because that's what Tel Aviv is about - color, personality and rhythm."

"The White City Musical Festival will showcase some of Israel's top musical acts," said Haim Gutin, Israel Commissioner for Tourism, North and South America," and provide some additional excitement for travelers arriving in Israel this spring."

The festival will also coincide with Tel Aviv Art Year 2012, a year-long selection of art, design and cultural-based exhibitions taking place throughout the city.
