Delta buys an oil refinery! Are they nuts? Posted: 11 May 2012 03:00 AM PDT Delta Airlines announced that they are buying an oil refinery in order to save money on fuel. The history of these kinds of purchases are not good. This one probably won't be good for Delta either or for passengers who will ultimately be footing the bill.
