Embrace Autumn with Emerson’s Fall Foliage-inspired Packages

MT. TREMPER, N.Y., September 27, 2007The fall foliage frenzy is in full swing in the Hudson Valley and Emerson Resort & Spa, a recently opened Silk-Road inspired resort a mere two hours from Manhattan, is offering packages to accompany the vibrant vistas this season. 

Autumn selections include the Hudson Valley Harvest package, for those who long to get back to nature and embrace the fall; the Tea for Two offering, encouraging guests to cozy up and rejuvenate in the style of regal England; and the luxurious Champagne and Dreams, a plush package sure to indulge.

After absorbing nature’s serenity during the easy two-hour drive to Emerson’s luxurious resort, guests will continue to savor the tastes and colors of the festive fall atmosphere with the Hudson Valley Harvest Package.  During a rejuvenating hike through the crisp Catskill forest, guests will experience 360 degree views of the Hudson Valley and surrounding peaks, resplendent with a kaleidoscope of colors.  Following the hike, guests will indulge in a soothing soak in a warm cranberry bog bath at the Spa followed by a maple butter body wrap and a pumpkin peel, anti-aging facial.  Seasonal specialties from apple/cranberry martinis to pumpkin pie will be served at the resort’s Phoenix restaurant before guests fall into the sumptuous comfort of the luxurious jewel-toned suites.  The Hudson Valley Harvest package starts at $996 per night, based on double occupancy, mid-week and is inclusive of tax and gratuities.  The package includes:

·         Welcome basket of assorted seasonal butters and jams

·         Complimentary in-room bottle of wine

·         One night in an luxurious Silk Road-inspired Inn suite

·         Gourmet prepared lunch for two to take on hike

·         Soothing cranberry soak, pumpkin peel facial and maple body wrap for two

·         Dinner for two at the Phoenix Restaurant

·         Breakfast for two at the Phoenix Restaurant

 

            As the crisp autumn air begins to nip at noses, guests are called to cozy up with a cup of tea, crumpets and clotted cream in Emerson Inn’s majestic Great Room – complete with creek-side vistas and an ambiance enhanced by the grand chandelier, a piece of hospitality history from the famed Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Fla.  Visitors will feel like royalty while enjoying afternoon tea complete with house-made scones, tea sandwiches, pastries, clotted cream and more. 

            Following tea, guests will be pampered with a hot poultice pack massage to soothe tired muscles, then enjoy an evening mar-tea-ni and sumptuous dinner at the Phoenix restaurant before slipping into slumber in a luxurious suite.  The Tea for Two package starts at $926 per night, based on double occupancy, mid-week and is inclusive of tax and gratuities.  The package includes:
