The first run of the 2012 edition of Pamplona's Running of the Bulls or Festival of San Fermin takes place in Navarra in northern Spain. This is perhaps the world's premier festival lasting a total of nine days and nights. It is an endurance test for those who stay for the entire time and each morning begins with six thundering fighting bulls and a group of steers running from their corral to the bullring.
