Raising Caribbean Cuisine to New Heights with Innovative Culinary Experiences
Providenciales, Turks and Caicos – August 1, 2012 – Poolside frolicking will meet five-star cuisine when Beach House Turks and Caicos grand opens this October. Chef Eric Vernice’s innovative and locally sourced menus will bring an unexplored food and beverage concept to the Caribbean by way of edible martinis, surprise tastings, a special LABORATORY tasting dinner, tapas primers and other fun culinary surprises that will magically appear both tableside and beachside.
The 90-seat poolside restaurant and bar will feature a revolving mix of Chef Eric’s favorite dishes, which blend together nuances from his native France along with Caribbean flavors. An expansive wine list sourced by the hotel’s Curator of Experiences, Jean Sebastien “JS” Richer, will embrace Chef Eric’s cuisine and the casual “no socks allowed” elegance of Beach House.
“The joy of having such a fun and intimate setting as the 21-suite Beach House is that we have the freedom to personalize absolutely everything,” said JS Richer. “With a state-of-the-art kitchen, novel menu concepts that invite guests to encounter a broad array of flavors and preparations in a single visit and Chef Eric’s imagination constantly at work, the stage has been set for a steady stream of extraordinary pairing and culinary experiences.”
Chef Eric brings with him a wealth of experience from around the world and the local region where he most recently helmed the kitchen of The Regent Palms Turks and Caicos as Executive Chef. Prior to working with Chef Eric in Food & Beverage Development at The Regent Palms Turks and Caicos, JS served as Chief Sommelier aboard the Cunard Line’s RMS Queen Mary 2. The long-standing friendship and partnership of Chef Eric and JS paves the way for guest experiences in which caution is thrown to the wind and all parties take part in the collaboration.
